COUNSELLING FOR STUDENTS
We are very fortunate to have Agnes Asi joining Ardmore this term. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Health Science course at AUT and majoring in Counselling. To complete this course she needs practicum hours. These sessions are monitored by AUT and also an outside provider. This will enable us to have counselling sessions for our students on Tuesdays.
Agnes is Samoan and has had a lot of involvement with children. She is looking forward to spending time at Ardmore and supporting students with their concerns and worries.
We hope to ‘normalise’ the need to ‘talk about your worries’ and support Ardmore Students to feel safe, calm and understood.
Parental consent is needed for this. Consent forms are available at the office or through classroom teachers and on the school website.
