Important Information for 2026

Dear Parents / Caregivers, 

School starts Monday 9 February 2026 - 9am

School Donation

The school has opted to be part of the government’s Donation Scheme, therefore we will not be asking for a donation this year. 

Stationery

Stationery can be purchased from the following website www.schoolpacks.co.nz. Please make sure you order stationery according to your child’s room. 

Rooms for 2026

You can see what room your child’s in by accessing the Hero app. Go to the 3 horizontal lines on the top left, open the dropdown menu for your child, then click on ‘My 2026 Class’. 

School Whānau Organisation

Ruru: Rooms 1, 2 

Tūī: Rooms 4, 5, 6, 9

Pīwakawaka: Rooms 3, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 

Transition Whānau Hui

Transition and Goal Setting Conferences with parents/caregivers, students and teachers will be held in week two of next year on Tuesday 17 and 18 February. These conferences are to support your child’s move to a new classroom, teacher, and in some cases and new team within the school. This is to ensure that teachers and the school have as much information as possible about your child. As part of this conference, academic, and perhaps social and emotional goals will be developed for your child. 

Conferences will be held on: 

• Tuesday 17 February - 2.15 - 6pm

• Wednesday 18 February - 3.15 - 7.30pm

School will be closing at 2pm on Tuesday 17 February
